Q: I am currently trying to use Microfile+ to convert .czi images to .jpx files using “combine 2D images into 3D stack”, but whenever I start the conversion it gets stuck on “starting conversion” and loads forever. Is there something I am doing wrong?

My first suggestion would be to try converting the CZI 2D images to .jp2 2D images first. Once the 2D images are all in the .jp2 format, I recommend using the Combine 2D Images into 3D Stacks option to compile the images into a .jpx stack. CZI images can be container files, meaning they can hold many images in one file. Though Microfile+ can export each of these images to separate files, I do not think it is designed to work out how to combine those subimages to create a stack.
