Q: Why doesn't my .xml file work when I use it with non-MBF Bioscience software?

A: The WC3 XML standard can be (and often is) customized by the programs that use it. The XML is a framework more than a rigid format. This means that it’s possible that our software will create a valid .xml file that cannot be read by other software, and vice versa. However, all .xml files are plain-text, human-readable formats, so they can be opened and edited in any text editing software.
